We’re so excited to share with you our journey to India. The heartbeat and soul of Cleobella is connecting to the people who bring our designs to life. 

THERE IS SO MUCH BEAUTY IN INDIA, IT OVERWHELMS, IMMERSES, AND SINKS RIGHT INTO YOU.  THE WILD COLORS, SOUNDS, SMELLS, SPICES, MUSIC, TINY ROADS, ALL COME TOGETHER TO IGNITE YOUR SOUL.   

Being able to see our woodblock prints made from start to finish was something I will never forget. This is why I built Cleobella — I wanted to show these creations from local artisans and carry on their traditions. 

Our hand woodblock printed collection features one-of-a-kind pieces that are handcrafted by artisans practicing the ancient art of woodblock printing. This process is regarded as an artform stemming from custom traditions, and delicate artisanal personalization.

Hand carved wooden blocks are dipped in ink and transferred onto the fabric one by one. 

What makes our blockprints so special are the generations behind the creation, to be able to support artisans like this is exactly the reason Cleobella started in the first place.

I even got to do the woodblocking myself — what an incredible moment. 

Working alongside these creators always brings new light to the table and with that comes the beautiful designs that separates Cleobella from the rest. This is what makes us so unique. Each piece specially handcrafted just for you. 

India always surprises me with its beauty and loving culture. I am amazed each time I travel here. From meeting new people to being able to see new creations live is something I hope everyone gets to experience at least once in their lifetime.
