Sunday's Spring Equinox not only kicked off Spring, but also the official countdown to festival season. Whether you're going to Coachella, Bonnaroo, or Burning Man, fasten your seat belts because you're in for an adventure. We've rounded up an A-Z countdown of some of what we're looking forward to this season.

Festival season is the next best thing to Halloween, when it's socially acceptable to be in public half naked. Which means it's totally okay to rock crochet with nothing underneath. ADDED BONUS: the loose knit is basically a built-in ventilation.

F is for FANNY PACKS & FRINGE
We know fanny packs bring visions of hammer pants and neon (which we fully support btw), but for festival season we've made something a bit more chic. There's nothing better than cruising festival grounds hands free (makes it easier to double fist your drinks), which is why fanny packs are our handbag of choice. Pair it with a fringe jacket and you're good to go.

H- HYDRATE
Nobody wants to be that girl who passed out- not cute. So take care of yourself! Remember to bring a re-usable bottle and fill up regularly- Desert sun + alcohol + dancing is a easy recipe for dehydration!

L is for LAYERS
At 2pm when it's 110 degrees in the desert and you're sweating your ass off, it's hard to believe you'll ever be cold again. But once that sun goes down and the wind picks up, you'll be wishing you would have worn something that covered more than just your nipples. Make sure to pack layers- we recommend our Rona Kimono or Olivia Kimono. If it's too bulky to fit in your bag, tie the sleeves of your jacket in a knot around the strap of your bag.
M is for MUSIC
In case you forgot that festivals are about music, not instagram.

Again, we repeat: Festivals are socially acceptable ground for nudity. So #FREETHENIPPLE, who knows the next time they'll see sunlight.

Get your mind out of the gutter!! We are talking about festival virgins- our owners Angela and Jim have never been to Coachella because they are always in Bali in April, but they're popping their festival cherry this year.
